"Why Can't We Be Friends" es una famosa canción de la banda funk War, que pertenece al album mismo nombre que fue lanzado en 1975.
La cancion tiene una estructura simple, con la frase "Why Can't We Be Friends" cuatro veces cantada después de cada versículo de dos líneas. Esa frase se canta más de cuarenta veces en el transcurso de la canción, que es el marco de cuatro minutos de duración.
